Hunter Divisions

 

Schooling Hunter Division

Open to all horses, ponies and riders regardless of age or status. To be judged on performance and soundness. (Fences 2’3” or 2’6”)

Very Green Hunter Division

Open to horses with limited experience in their FIRST or SECOND year of showing. To be judged on performance and soundness. (Fences 2’3”)

Low Intermediate Hunter Division

Open to Juniors and Amateurs on horses or ponies. Juniors may cross enter into Beginner Rider, Short/Long Stirrup, Intermediate; or if a small or medium pony, Children’s Pony Hunter. Amateurs may cross enter into Beginner Rider, Low Adult, Long Stirrup, Novice Amateur or Intermediate. (Fences 2’3”)

Open to Amateur riders 18 years and older. May cross enter into Intermediate Hunter, Low Adult or Low Intermediate. (Fences 2’6”)

Low Adult Hunter Division

Open to Amateur riders. Ponies may be shown by Adults, suitability to count. May cross enter into Low Intermediate, Novice Amateur and Intermediate. (Fences 2’3”)

Open to Juniors and Amateurs. Juniors may cross enter into Low Intermediate, Children’s Pony Hunter or Children’s Hunter. Amateurs may cross enter into Low Intermediate, Novice Amateur and Low Adult. (Fences 2’6”)

To be shown by Junior exhibitors. Judged on manners and suitability. May cross enter into Intermediate, or if eligible, Very Green. Small and medium ponies may cross enter into Low Intermediate. (Fences 2’3” for small and medium ponies, 2’6” for large ponies)

Open to riders 13 years of age and over with very limited experience. May cross enter into Low Intermediate and Beginner Rider. (Fences 18” – 2’)

Leadline

Open to riders (7) years of age and under. To be judged on manners and suitability of pony to rider 50% and horsemanship of rider 50%. Riders may not cross enter into any other division. Riders must be led by a handler. Entry fee $10.00.

Walk-Trot Hunter Division

Open to beginner riders with very limited experience only. If the class size is excessive, then classes may be split, based on rider’s age, into 8 years and under and 9 years and over. Riders to walk and trot both ways of the ring. Manners, way of going and suitability of rider to mount to be judged. Cross-rails not to exceed 12” in height. Riders may not cross enter into any other division. Entry fee $10.00 per class.

Jumper Divisions

 

Novice Jumper Division

Open to all horses and riders with VERY limited experience. Fences will be 2’ with spreads not to exceed fence height. May cross enter into Beginner Jumper.

Open to all horses and riders with very limited experience. Fences will be 2’6” with spreads not to exceed fence height. May cross enter into Hopeful Jumper

Open to all horses and riders. Fences will be 2’6” – 2’9” with spreads not to exceed fence height. May cross enter into Beginner Jumper and Low Training Jumper.
